Beach Music at CCU

A History of Rock and Roll and Beach Music Course will be offered on Thursdays beginning January 22 to February 26 from 2:30 until 4:00 pm. The course will be taught by Harry Turner, president of Beach Music Association International and author of This Magic Moment. You will learn how the original style of American Rhythm and Blues and Rock and Roll influenced Beach Music and why year after year, it maintains its popularity. Learn how and why Beach Music has become a part of the lifestyle of the Carolinas and discover why the music itself is universal in recognition and appeal. You will meet Beach Music performers and song writers in this fun interactive course. The cost is only $49 and to register, please call 349-2665.
